When the park’s Anton Schwarzkopf Wildcat Coaster was removed in 2011 and then the installation of the park’s 16th roller coaster, Gate Keeper, displaced the park’s Disaster Transport (formerly Avalanche Run) attraction near the front gate Cedar Point knew the history of those iconic attractions should be preserved so they called the National Roller Coaster Museum (NRCMA) to help.
