Day 52
Analysis
Let's take a look at today's entry:
- "Captain Jones tells us Mayflower's sails must not be unreefed. More stress to the cracked beam could break it in two. We do not tell the children how dire the situation has become. But still, we see it in their eyes. They sense we may never reach the New World."
- I don't have anything to say based on today's entry specifically, but I do have something worth mentioning. While searching the trademark database, I found it slightly interesting that the trademark for Mammoth is dead and the trademarks for Giraffica and Pilgrim's Plunge are still active. I don't know enough about patents to comment on whether this means anything or not, but I found it odd that trademarks for ride that has been removed are still active while the name of an operating waterslide is no longer trademark protected. This probably has nothing to do with expansion, but then again maybe it does. On a side note, they also have a trademark for a Holiday World Hotel that was filed in 2011. That would certainly be an unexpected announcement.
That's it for today. Check back tomorrow for our analysis of Day 53.
