Holiday World 2015: 66 Days At Sea - Day 61

On May 19, 2014, Holiday World began releasing information about their 2015 expansion plans. They launched the teaser site 66DaysAtSea.com to give clues over the course of 66 days as to what the big announcement may be.  You can read more about the site here. We'll be highlighting each day's entry as well as providing our analysis of what we think the clues may be hinting at.

Day 61

Analysis

Let's take a look at today's entry:

• "Where are the stars that have guided us for so long?  Extinguished by this endless storm.  I fear we have at last lost our way."
• It seems timely that this post shows up today after what I posted yesterday about questionable management decisions, but I'm going to chock that up as a coincidence. As far as today's entry is concerned, I think this is another clue for a long coaster. Clues up to this point seem to indicate a coaster with considerable length and a considerable amount of darkness. As we get closer to the reveal date, guesses as to what the ride will be are still all over the map. The manufacturer, the type of coaster, the stats, and what elements will be included are still relative unknowns. I've never seen a park and all parties involved hold a secret this close to the vest for this long.
